Hi! My name is Juul Snijder and this year I’m the vice-president of Serve the City Tilburg. I’m 22 years old and I was born in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. After highschool I studied medical assistent and right now I study Human Resource Management at Fontys in Tilburg. I decided to do a board year at Serve the City Tilburg because I was ready for a new adventure and because I like to do voluntary work.
Als vice-chairman I’m responsible for the acquisition and the expansion of Serve the City to Fontys and Avans. Beside that I help the chairman if needed and I manage the Serve the Kids commission. The Serve the Kids commission organises activities for kids and teenagers in need. In November is our yearly Sinterklaas activity, last year 150+ children came to the Hall of Fame to watch a musical and have a good time. After the musical they all got a present. Next to the activities that the commission organises they also like to do fun things with each other. A couple of weeks ago we went to an escape room with the commission, we had a lot of fun!
