Hi everyone! I’m Anne-Lin van Gelder, the PR commissioner of Serve the City Tilburg 2019-2020. I’m 20 years old and a second year student Dutch Law (TLS). During my board year I follow a few courses. Next to my board year (and my study) I’m also active within another committee.
I’m from Gelderland and moved to Tilburg for my study. I have now been living in Tilburg for a year and a half. Living in another city inspired me to become active next to my study. I wanted to create a network outside my study and develop myself on a more personal level. For example, within committee work you learn new things, such as organizing an event.
Last year I became interested in a board year and eventually I applied for a board year by Serve the City Tilburg. I thought it would be a nice gesture to do something for the society in Tilburg.
As PR commissioner I’m responsible for the promotion of the foundation. Think about keeping the socials up to date and writing pieces for the website. It’s my task to write about activities and general Serve the City information.
