In recent weeks, Serve the Brave went to the streets to map wheelchair-accessibility of buildings in Tilburg. They did this in collaboration with the Tilburg Overleg Gehandicaptenorganisatie (TOG), who are busy putting information and photos on wheelmap.com where people with a physical disability can see how accessible a building is to them. The people of TOG are in the risk group and cannot easily take to the streets themselves, so they could use our help. We took pictures at Tilburg University and Fontys of, among other things, entrances, disabled toilets and elevators. In this way, despite corona, we can still commit to our target group!
