Gardening with the Elderly

On Monday, April 26, our Serve the Green and Serve the Gray committees joined forces. Together they organized a nice green afternoon for the people of the Wever de Hazelaar. This is a treatment and rehabilitation center where the guests stay temporarily. They performed various activities in small groups (at a distance and with facemasks). A few students worked with the people from this center in the garden or filled flowerpots with plants, but they also played green games together! In addition, they have provided all living rooms with bunches of orange tulips as a gift. The people were very enthusiastic and enjoyed the nice weather that day, in addition to all the fun activities they could do!
