On King’s Day, the Serve the Brave committee baked cookies for the guests of the Ronald McDonald house in Tilburg. Families of seriously ill children stay here, so that they can be close to their child in the hospital / rehabilitation center. Serve the Brave wanted to mean something for these families. Unfortunately, after the first batch of cookies had been left in the oven for too long and burned, the committee members were able to package the decorated cookies and hand them over to the families. With the cookies we hoped to give the guests a festive feeling and to conjure up a smile! This certainly succeeded and the guests were able to feast on the cookies.
